In addition to experience at the Bar, Robert trained as an accountant with Joliffe Cork and Stoy Hayward, which gives him excellent insight into corporate structures and accounts and a level of comfort around figures that many other practitioners do not possess.
Robert has given many lectures on behalf of chambers and has lectured at Resolution events and for Jordans.
Chambers 2004 to date.
Legal 500 2007 to date.
He has been described as excellent with complicated cases and detailed financial arrangements. He is known for his calming and confident manner with the client.
In ancillary relief he has represented high profile individuals from professional footballers, CEOs of highstreet banks and listed companies to members of the aristocracy. This means that he has had to deal regularly with the complicating features of off-shore accounts; corporate valuations; special contributions within the marriage; pre-marital wealth/inheritance and finances held in trust, alongside the more usual issues of needs and sharing. The value of cases in which he works ranges from £250,000 up to £25,000,000.
His children's law practice tends to concentrate on near fatal and fatal injury cases, particularly NAI shaking cases.
