Broadway House Chambers will once again hold its popular annual one-day conference on Family Law at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Leeds on Wednesday 12th September 2012.

This year's programme will cover Ancillary Relief in the morning session and Children Law cases in the afternoon. Following consultation with solicitors across the region we have tailored our programme to provide guidance in discrete areas of family law. The full-day conference will attract 6 CPD points and each half-day session will attract 3 points. Our speakers will address delegates on the following topics:

Ancillary Relief

• The consequences of Imerman v Imerman [2010] EWCA Civ 908
• Spousal insolvency
• Pre- and extra-marital wealth (including inheritance)
• Pre- and post-nuptial agreements

Children Law

• Removal from the jurisdiction
• Expert evidence in Private and Public Law cases
• Breach and enforcement of contact orders
• Finding of Fact Hearings and pools of perpetrators

Last year's seminar was a sell-out and places at this year's conference are already very popular. Each half-day session is priced at £45 per delegate, and the full-day session is £80, saving £10. Refreshments and a hot lunch are included.
