100 Years, 100km: Broadway House Chambers February Cycle Challenge in Aid of Bradford, Mind
To mark Broadway House Chambers’ 100th anniversary, a team of our barristers and staff are taking on a challenge this February and are cycling 100km each to raise funds for Mind in Bradford.
Throughout the month, the following members will be completing the 100km challenge:
Stephen Wood KC, Anthony Hajimitsis, Jayne Pye, Joanne O'Shea, Helen Williams, Emily Ward, Christopher Rowe, Josephine Garvey, Robin Slade, Rebecca Clayton and Olivia Arnold.
February is a cold and dark month and we know this can take a toll on anyones mental health. Our challenge not only supports Mind, but also encourages our team to get active, something proven to have a positive impact on wellbeing.
Bradford District and Craven Mind's mission is to make sure that no one in our community has to face a mental health issue alone. They are an independent registered charity that is affiliated with national Mind but relies on their own resources to provide local services. Last year they supported over 17,000 local people!
We are fundraising to help them reach more people in our local area who need their vital support. Please consider supporting us and donating to BDC Mind.
If you'd like to cheer us on, our JustGiving page is below. No matter the amount, every penny helps make a positive difference.
As we celebrate our centenary year, Chambers is embarking on monthly charitable challenges. January saw us commit to completing 100 hours of pro bono work. Upcoming initiatives range from a 100,000 step challenge to donating 100 items to children’s and animal charities, with many more planned throughout the year.
