Fen Greatley-Hirsch Secures Suspended Sentence for his Client in a Serious Three-handed Affray

Defending in Leeds Crown Court, Fen Greatley-Hirsch, instructed by Haider Solicitors, secures suspended sentence for his client in a serious three-handed affray.

One of the men sustained serious injuries, including broken bones and a head injury.

This offending clearly crossed the custody threshold, fallingwithin the highest category (A1) on the Sentencing Guidelines. The offence was also aggravated by several factors.

The court held back from imposing a sentence of immediate custody but suspended it to allow an opportunity for rehabilitation within the community through unpaid work.
