Stephen Wood KC and Camille Morland Secure Convictions in Sheffield

Following a four-week trial before the Recorder of Sheffield, Stephen Wood KC and Camille Morland secured the convictions of four men for offences of attempted murder and conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life.

The convicted defendants had made concerted plans to rob a cannabis farm but resorted to potentially fatal violence, involving the use of a semi-automatic Makarov 9 mm pistol, when two innocent members of the public came across them. The defendants will be sentenced in April.
